June 28: It’s Time to Choose Love with Kai Cheng Thom (Virtual)

Join us for this Pride Month session with the incredible Kai Cheng Thom! Drawing on psychology, trauma and attachment theory, and community, Kai will examine the meaning and importance of “radical love” as a political intervention in the face of late-stage capitalism, impending climate disaster, and an increasingly polarized political scene. We’ll push back against “call-out” and “canceling” culture and argue for a more compassionate form of justice that retains a fierce ethic of accountability and integrity.

This session will focus on the needs of 2SLGBTQ+ staff and faculty at UofT, but is open to everyone.

Join us on June 28, 2023 from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. ET (via Zoom).
